Who we are

Martsyl Tech Journal (“we”, “us”) is a tech publication operated by Onuorah Nnamdi Martins under Martsyl Tech Hub. The site is available at https://martsyljournal.blog.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

  • Account details — name, email, and password hash if you register or sign in.
  • Comments and replies — content you post while signed in.
  • Newsletter email — if you subscribe from the site.
  • Technical data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and reliability.

How we use information

  • To publish and moderate comments
  • To operate member accounts and the admin CMS
  • To send newsletter updates if you subscribed
  • To keep the service secure and diagnose outages

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and sessions

We use session cookies required for authentication (signing in as a member or admin). These are necessary for the site to work. Theme preference (light/dark) may also be stored locally in your browser.

Third-party services

The site may load fonts or embedded media (for example YouTube videos inside articles) from third parties. Those providers have their own privacy policies. Analytics or advertising tools, if added later, will be disclosed here.

Data retention

Account, comment, and newsletter records are kept while your account is active or until you ask us to remove them, unless we must retain something for security or legal reasons. Server logs are rotated on a normal operational schedule.

Your choices

  • Update or delete comments by contacting us (we moderate from the admin tools).
  • Ask to unsubscribe from the newsletter or delete a member account.
  • Stop using the site and clear cookies in your browser.

Children

Martsyl Tech Journal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product grows. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
